Being able to get Isabella is also a huge plus. The vanguard deployment fixes one of the factions biggest weaknesses. It's almost impossible to lose as him and you aren't really forced into long land campaigns like Harkon is. Nautilus has the best start location and starts out the strongest.
Hexwraiths are also an incredibly strong unit normally unavailable to Tomb Kings. Crypt Ghouls in particular are usually better than skeletons. Tomb Kings: Arkhan's extra unit variety is useful on a faction that has unit caps on almost every unit. Poor Malus looks stronger on paper but the way the demon mechanic works makes his faction play far too impractical to be the best Dark Elf. She get's incredibly powerful with her mount and the Death Night mechanics can eventually be made so that the negatives are mostly done away with, just leaving you with an overall stronger faction. Imrik is stronger late game due to getting sickening bonuses and an overpowered item, however Alith Anar is more consistently powerful since Imrik starts out in a really bad spot and needs a while to get rolling.ĭark Elves: Hellebron.
